Top Reasons To Clear History
Your browser, Windows and other programs store records of different activities that you have performed on your computer and on the Internet - what websites you have visited, what movies you have watched, what files you have opened and much more. In case you share the computer with others, they could see what you have been doing, searching, downloading, running, viewing, etc.
You may clear history, cache and cookies using the 'clear' option in your browser but it won't be enough to protect your privacy, as history files are stored in different locations
Windows and other programs create temporary files that are stored in the Windows temporary folder. With time this folder can become cluttered and contain the files from programs you no longer have installed or the files which may violate your privacy.
Windows stores a list of documents and files you have recently opened and worked with. And everyone with access to your computer may easily access any item that you have opened.
The Run history stored by Windows stores the list of programs you have run using the Run option in the Start Menu. And anyone who has access to your computer may see the list of programs that you have run.
Every time you open a program from the Start Menu, Windows records the date and the number of times you used it. That could compromise your privacy and increase the number of entries in the registry slowing Windows down.
Most applications use the Windows-provided dialogs for open/save operations. Every time you open or save a file, Windows records the names of a file that you opened or saved. So, when you choose the 'Open' or 'Save' item from the application file menu, Windows displays a drop-down list of the most recently used files or opens the certain directory. Even if the names are not shown in the file open/save dialog of particular application, they are kept in a Windows registry and can be viewed.
Some history entries can't be removed manually without special software.
Clear All History protects privacy by clearing all tracks of your Internet and computer activity.
Why you need Clear All History
Your browser, Windows and other programs store records of different activities that you have performed on your computer and on the Internet - what websites you have visited, what movies you have watched, what files you have opened and much more.
Most browsers allow you to clear history manually, but it is not the solution. If you clear history using the built-in 'clear history' option, it will not clear all history files from your computer and even the files that you think were deleted could be recovered until they have been overwritten by other files.
Clear All History helps you clear Internet History, Windows history and Application history forever without any chance of recovery.
What is Internet history?
While you surf the Internet, your browser records every url you have typed in the Address Bar, every search string you have entered in search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN, information you have entered on the webpages and more...
While the storage of Internet history on your PC can speed up webpages loading thereby making web surfing more convenient, it could be a trouble. If you share you computer with other people, they could see everything you have done while surfing the Internet.
To protect your privacy you should clear history tracks of your Internet surfing. But getting rid of Internet history is much more difficult than you could think. You can try to clear history manually but as the computer stores Internet history in different locations, it would take much time. Furthermore, some kinds of history tracks can't be deleted manually. So, to clear all history tracks, you should use special clear history software.
