Tip of the Day What is browser cache?
Browser cache (also known as Temporary Internet files) stores the content of all the web pages that you have visited (including pictures, animation, movies, etc) during a session. This speeds up the displaying of pages you frequently visit as a web browser can open them from your hard disk instead of downloading them from the web. However, it can threat to your privacy because everyone who has access to your computer can see some personal information - by simply opening the cache file/folder (Temporary Internet Files), anyone can see what videos you've watched, what pictures you've seen, where you've been online and more. Using ClearAllHistory "Delete Temporary Internet files" option you can completely clear cache. In Internet Explorer ClearAllHistory also cleans the content of index.dat file that contains Internet activity traces. Index.dat file can't be deleted manually as it is used by Windows all the time.
