Why you should empty cache

Although storing browser cache makes web browsing faster as it usually takes your computer less time to display a web page when it can open page's elements or even the entire page from your local Temporary Internet Files folder, browser cache can threat to your privacy, especially if you are using a public computer, as everyone who has access to your computer can see some personal information by simply opening the browser cache folder.

Clearing cache not only protects your privacy but helps you free up space on your computer.

How to empty cache in Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari

Empty cache in Internet Explorer 9:

Press Ctrl+Shift+Del to open the Delete browsing history windows, then check the 'Temporary Internet Files' option and click 'Delete'.

Select 'Delete browsing history' from the Tools menu.

Then select Cache and click the Delete button.

Empty cache in Internet Explorer 7:

Select 'Internet Options' from the Tools menu, then open the 'General' tab and for Browsing history click 'Delete'. Click 'Delete files'.

Select Tools -> Internet Options.

Open 'General' tab and click 'Delete' button in 'Browsing history' area.

Click 'Yes', and then click 'Close'.

Open 'Tools' menu and select 'Internet Options'.

Open the 'Tools' menu and select 'Options' and open the 'Privacy' tab.

To empty cache in Safari:
