How to clear Media Player history manually
To clear Media Player history manually, you should clear the following tracks:
- clear media information about recent files in your library

- clear recent play lists of files and URLs

1. Click the arrow below the Now Playing tab and select More Options.
2. Open the Privacy tab.
3. To clear the existing lists, click the Clear History button.
How to prevent Media Player from storing the recently played files list:
1. Click the arrow below the Now Playing tab and select More Options.
2. Open the Privacy tab.
3. Remove the check mark from 'Save file and URL history in the Player' check box.

1. Run the program, open the Settings window and set how often you need to clear Media Player history.
